In some circumstances, a more detailed ground survey may be required depending on site conditions, available utility records, or the complexity of the installation. If necessary, this will be discussed with you before any works commence.

All of our engineers are fully trained and certified in the use of CAT scanners, with refresher training and recertification completed every 12 months to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship.

A standard bollard installation typically takes around 2 hours to complete from start to finish. However, installation times may vary depending on ground conditions, the type of bollard being installed, and any additional site requirements.

All electrical works are carried out by our own fully qualified in-house electricians, ensuring complete quality control and consistency throughout the installation process. We never outsource our work, allowing us to maintain the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.

For more complex installations involving additional groundworks, utility surveys, or multiple bollards, installation times may be longer and will be discussed during the survey and planning stage.

For complete peace of mind, all installations carried out by SJF Bollards & Barriers are backed by up to 24-month workmanship warranty, covering the quality of our installation and associated works.In addition, selected automatic bollards are supplied with manufacturer warranties of up to 48 months, depending on the product specification and manufacturer terms. Warranty periods will be confirmed at the time of quotation and purchase.As part of our commitment to ongoing reliability and performance,

1. The 24-month installation warranty covers defects arising from workmanship and installation carried out by SJF Bollards & Barriers. 
2. Manufacturer warranties on products and equipment are subject to the individual manufacturer's terms and conditions. 
3. The complimentary first service applies only to automatic bollard installations and must be carried out within the recommended service interval specified by SJF Bollards & Barriers. 
4. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, vandalism, vehicle collisions, flooding, fire, unauthorised modifications, third-party repairs, or lack of routine maintenance. 
5. Any faults or defects must be reported promptly upon discovery. 
6. Warranty claims may require site inspection before approval of remedial works. 
7. To maintain warranty validity, customers must ensure the equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. 
8. SJF Bollards & Barriers reserves the right to repair, replace, or rectify defective components at its discretion under the terms of the warranty.
